Consort Immanuel regrets to announce that this concert has been cancelled.

This concert will feature some of the "light" compositions from Houston-based composer, Eddie Lewis.  The works will be performed by Consort Immanuel's brass quintet. 

Always thought brass music was rather formal and stiff?  Think again.  If you can imagine toe-tapping, finger-popping, playful, jazzy grooves, then you will have some idea of what to expect.  But come prepared for some surprises: Contrasting Casual Capers is all about the lighter, more playful side of brass music.

This concert is FREE of charge and open to members of the public.  This is an excellent way to spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon, and families are encouraged to make it a family event.
